Web Sets:  You may create free web sets for non-profit only. You may not sell any set with our Artwork on it, unless written permission and licensing fees are agreed upon prior to usage. In the case of linkware page sets, you must have our name credit and a link back to our website clearly visible on each page you use our Artwork. If you allow others to download these sets with our Artwork, you must also display on each and every set that they must also have our name credit and a link back to our website.

The name credit and link can look like this:

Web Graphics:  If using our Artwork for signature tags, awards, banners, globes, etc, our name credit must be clearly visible ON the graphics created such as 'Artwork © Beverley Lu' (not somewhere near it or on another page). Also you must have our website address link www.beverleylu.com either on the graphic created or somewhere near it. You must also state on your website that anyone using these graphics with our Artwork must not remove the credit. All Web Graphics must be for non-profit only.

Stationary:  You may use our Artwork for stationary as long as it is for non-profit use only. You must have our name credit and a link back to our website (see above example) within the body of the stationary. This link must be a clickable link that when someone clicks on it, they will be able to go to our website to view the Artwork.

Wallpaper:  If you wish to download our Artwork to use on your desktop wallpaper, we don't mind you doing this so long as it is for your personal use only.

Printing:  If you wish to download our Artwork to use in a printing project, while we cannot prevent you from doing this, please be aware that the Artwork images on this website are very low resolution and will print out very poorly on your projects. This is also in violation of our copyright unless prior written permission is given from us.

Tubing:  We do NOT allow any of our Artwork to be made into tubes as this encourages copyright infringement over the internet as well as distorting of our Artwork.

*** Groups (MSN, Yahoo, etc): ***   We are once again allowing our Artwork to be used in MSN, Yahoo, etc Groups, as long as it can be viewed by anyone and I do not have to join to view your work. It also must be a 'child friendly' site. 

Our Artwork is NOT to be used in any Member Only Groups (private groups). What does this mean? It means, that if you are a member of any Member Only Groups or if you are a manager of any Member Only Groups you cannot use our Artwork for your creations in the Group. It also means that even if you are not a member of any Member Only Groups but you sometimes upload or 'pass on' creations to others in a Member Only Group, this is NOT allowed and you are in violation of these terms. 

So under NO circumstance is our Artwork to be used, passed around, uploaded, shared in ANY MEMBER ONLY GROUPS where I have to join to view.

Adult, Hate, Child/Animal Abuse Sites:  Under NO circumstance is our Artwork to be used or posted on these sites. If your site is not child friendly, you may NOT use our Artwork.

Changing Our Artwork:  You may NOT change or alter our Artwork in any way with the exception of softening the edges or adding a frame or mask. This also means you may NOT add other images, such as another artist's work or photos, to our Artwork without extra written permission to do so (from Beverley Lu and other artist/photographer).

Students Artwork:  You may NOT use the Students Artwork. If you wish to use the Students Artwork, you MUST obtain separate permission from that student.

Using Our Artwork without contacting us:  Any creation you use our Artwork on, you must send us the URL that the Artwork is on in advance of public view with web sets, etc.

What if you see our Artwork being misused:  If you see our Artwork being misused, such as not credited properly, no link credit, being sold either on the internet as a web set or other merchandise that may be unauthorized, please let us know immediately. Thanks to many of you for your continued vigilance, we have been able to find unauthorized users and put a stop to the usage.

PLEASE  NOTE:   If you cannot guarantee abiding by our set terms above, then don't use our Artwork. At this time, we are delighted for graphic artists to use our Artwork for their creations as we enjoy viewing others work they create. However, we reserve the right to disallow any and all usage of our Artwork at any time if we find it is being misused. Please be courteous and abide by the above terms so everyone can continue to enjoy our Artwork in their creations. Otherwise it will end up ruining it for everyone.
