About 5 or 6 years ago, we went over to PEI to look for foxes to photograph and this Red Fox (Cross Phase) was hiding behind some branches. So we waited and slowly he came out, just enough to peer through the leaves....lol. Love foxes! I've been wanting to paint him and this year was the year.
 
So many times we miss little hidden moments with our busy lives. This painting is about slowing down and taking in what is around us. Even for just a little while. There are so many things in nature that are beautiful and amazing if we take the time to notice them.
