I love PEI and this painting was inspired by it. The air, atmosphere, and scenery is beautiful. I especially love the ocean and beaches at sunset or sunrise. They are breathtaking so I just have to paint them so they will last forever :)  This painting came about from memory along with a couple of photos I took, from a few years ago. There is nothing like the few minutes just as the sun sinks behind the horizon and the sky lights up with all it's glory. Those memories leave a lasting impression.
